JudgeMe 9 Sign the declaration

A declaration

The wisdom of many.
One justice.

JudgeMe 9 is a declaration for a new way to hold a trial: justice that is fast, accessible and objective, that never leans toward the stronger side, and is built on the wisdom of many lawyers.

Justice built on the wisdom of lawyers

Today

Today, justice belongs to whoever can afford it.

A simple case drags on for years. Nobody knows the cost in advance. The outcome hangs on one judge, on one morning. And the side with more money and more lawyers can wear the other down until it gives up.

  • Years of waiting
  • A cost no one can predict
  • Power deciding instead of justice

The declaration

Three principles

I

Justice that can't be bought

The panel is anonymous. The lawyers see the parties; the parties cannot see them, and no lawyer knows who else sits on the panel. No pressure, no backroom persuasion, no intimidation. Their fee is set in advance, whoever wins.

II

The wisdom of lawyers

Not one judge, but a panel of lawyers from the case's field. Each one questions, weighs and rules independently, and the system unites their rulings into one verdict. Several independent minds err less than one.

III

Justice at the speed of life

The hearing happens on video, the cost is known upfront, and the verdict arrives in weeks, not years. Either side may appeal to a new, larger panel.

How it works

A hearing behind one-way glass

The partiesThe panel
They see you. You don't see them.
  1. 01

    Open a case

The parties file the claim, name its field (employment, family, commercial, torts) and the compensation they seek.

  2. 02

    Choose a panel

By the size of the case and the budget, choose how many lawyers sit and at what rating. Three at minimum. The cost is fixed in advance.

  3. 03

    The system summons

Lawyers from the case's field are invited to judge. They sign a confidentiality agreement and recuse themselves if they have any tie to either party.

  4. 04

    The hearing

On video. The lawyers see and ask; the parties answer without knowing who faces them. The system manages the right to speak and presents the documents.

  5. 05

    Separate rulings

Each lawyer reads the file and issues a ruling of their own, alone, without knowing what the others decided.

  6. 06

    One verdict

The system unites the rulings, weighted by rating, into a final verdict. The lawyers then read their colleagues' rulings and reasoning, to learn and grow.

At its core: a computerized administrator

  • Onboarding and identity checks (KYC)
  • Billing and accounts for clients and lawyers
  • Summoning lawyers and scheduling
  • Documents, protocol and records
  • Managing the right to speak and the video
  • Aggregating rulings and rating lawyers

Who it's for

Five cases that need another way

  • 1

    Divorce by agreement

Couples who prefer “mediation with a ruling” to a courtroom.

  • 2

    Commercial contracts

Contracts that state in advance: in a dispute, JudgeMe 9 decides.

  • 3

    Employment law

When the employer agrees to a preliminary ruling, or the employment contract says so.

  • 4

    Against large institutions

Claims against insurers, municipalities and corporations, where the citizen stands at a disadvantage.

  • 5

    A legal opinion

Advice for one side or both: what the wisdom of lawyers thinks of the case, before going further.

Two sides of the same justice

For citizens

  • A cost known upfront, with no surprises
  • Choose the panel's size and level to match your resources and confidence
  • A verdict in weeks, not years
  • The right to appeal to a new, larger panel, at the appellant's cost

For lawyers

  • Practice justice itself, free of billing, paperwork and evidence gathering
  • A fee agreed in advance for every hearing
  • A professional rating that raises your fee
  • Constant learning from your colleagues' rulings

The path

From pilot to binding practice

  1. 1

    A controlled pilot

A closed circle of lawyers in one field, monitored hearing rooms and review by a senior team.

  2. 2

    Expansion

More fields of law, and lawyers with no geographic limit.

  3. 3

    The institutions

JudgeMe 9 as a standing part of arbitration between companies and their customers.

  4. 4

    Regulatory change

The online hearing as a legally binding process in suitable cases, and from there, the world.
